Those interested in chatting about Humanism should note we now meet every Sunday at 10:30 a.m at the Swans Hotel for breakfast/coffee/conversation on those weeks in which we do NOT have a meeting. ( Some come at 9 a.m. for breakfast ON the day of the official meeting.)

Next  meeting will be in September as we shut down for the summer break. We still, of course, meet every Sunday morning to solve the world's problems at the Swans restaurant

June 10th: Dr.  Beyerstein,  Professor of Psychology and a member of the Brain Behaviour Laboratory at Simon Fraser University,. will travel to Victoria  to
 talk to us about religious cults.--an area he specializes in
 

May 20th: James Hessler, local astronomer, will talk to us about the wonders of Astronomy
 

April 29th:2007  Dr. Loren Williams, professor of biochemistry at Georgia Tech, will discuss the latest on the origins of life

On January 21st. Professor Berger, from UVIC's Legal Dept, will present a talk on our Bill of Rights

On February 11th. one day before Darwin's birthday, Bob Greggs will discuss Evolution.
