SORRY MY LOVE !

"It all started from there," he said. He claims himself as master of all trades, jack of none. However, we doubt it very much.
He said marriage is at the root of most complications of human society today (!). Marriage should be abolished,(!) we should live happily like fishes or birds or animals. Shabbash! And he says when there was no marriage, it was all-peaceful and there was no systemic oppression. It all started from the development of family and with the development of personal property. I was bored, but he continued: -- At the time of death, it is a natural desire for men to leave his properties only to HIS children ( not yours, from his wife!). But how one could be sure of it?
This is the first time the hero of creation looked at the heroin with a frown. All the love in his eyes changed to poisonous complicated calculations. By now he knew for sure, MOTHERS' BABY, FATHERS' MAY BE. He took the decision with a stone-heart, and embraced his queen with hundreds and thousands of strong arms. Not with love, but with walls after walls around her. He did not want to stay in a “may be” status regarding his children. He wanted to be sure. And he needed god's help to establish his system permanently in the psychology of people so that there was no resistance ever. Mantra's came up, one by one. Before 3200 years, different books were compiled mainly in UP of India.
"The best woman is worse than the worst man" -Toittorio Shonghita - 6/5//8/2. "Women are omen" - Moitrayani Shonghita -3/8/3. "A daughter is a curse" - Oittorio Brahman 6/3/7. "Confine women otherwise she will loose her strength" (What a strength!) - Shatapath Brahman 14/1/1/31. And that eternal license also, -“One husband is enough for them although the husband may have many wives"- Oittorio Brahman 3/5/3/47. And then came THE thing: - "One should weaken women by biting with stick so that she does not have any right on any property or her own body." - Shatapath Brahman - 4/4/2/13. And then, "The husband would try to buy her with presents if she declines his lust. If it does not work then he would bit her by hand or stick". - Shatapath Brahman - 6/4/7 ( Look at the Qura'an - Sura Nisa Ayat 34, and also to some Hadises in Sahi Bokhari). Byas! Now sixteen banana of male dominance is complete ( Sholo Kala, figuratively, the whole thing).
This is THE point. Body of women. Because, the age-old saying goes like this - Aapon mangshe horini boiree (Her own flesh is the main enemy of deer). Once somehow born out of women, "Zoibon" (youth, sex) explodes in him in due time. And then, in heaven and earth there is absolutely nothing more attractive to him than a female body. That is THE center of his circle, the nest of all his restlessness. He is never ready to share a bit of the right over that body with anybody else, even herself. Here he is ever ready to make and break any law in heaven and on earth, ready to stand strong with his feet keeping on any book. This is the ancient picture of mankind.
Want some more? Here we go. Lord Ram could perform the "Jo(n)ggo" not with Seeta but with her statue of gold because in those religious ceremonies women had absolutely no right to do anything but to sit idle. Also, "In the marriage ceremony the groom is praying for some more cattle and some more wives, right in front of the bride!" - Hironnyakeshi Grihyashuttra 1/6/12/14. "She does not have the right to resist any sexual aggression, even unwanted" -Moitryani Shanghita 3/6/3, 4/6/7, 4/7/4, 10/11/11. She can be used as a bet in “Chess-Sotronge” and can be lost to the winner. The list of gift of rich people to rich people just does not look nice and complete without her. This "Dotta" (dotta - from daan', a girl who is already given as a gift) is not the heart-stealing romantic heroin of Sharatchandra ( Novel- Bijoya, Movie- Dotta) . This "Dotta" is the unfortunate girl who always ends up in prostitution. Thousands and thousands of examples are there. Some say those "Shuttro"s ( Codes ) are not religious, only rituals. That makes it worse, because in that case rituals were used to torture women in religions' disguise by religious leaders. Codes are made only to apply, not to put on the high racks of book-shelves to beautify the room.
Aah! The cruel guard never knew when he himself became a prisoner in a prison of self-deception by depriving his beloved life-partner from the nectar of life! The splendid woman who could be "Prioshishye Lolite Kolabidhow," ( Kalidas), could be a "Gangasnan" (a cleansing bath) for his tired dirty soul, was so much reduced that he himself became like a lonely dog of footpaths! But he never realized his own loss. For his mental satisfaction he rather made system of breeding prostitute and the state used to bear the expense to make hundreds of beautiful, youthful dancing singing rich prostitutes like Bashant-Shena, Amropali, Ambapali etc., expert in 80 different kinds of " Kola" ( Art) . These prostitutes were so rich that they used to pay tax and gifts to the state and even to Lord Buddha. And what about beauty-less, old prostitutes ! Just imagine their lives!
Then women were used by men as coins in the shop of gods in the game of buying/selling heaven. Thousands of women were "devoted" to temples. The gift-giver would get the "Apswaras" (Nymphs from heaven) after death, but the irony is that the Purut-Thakur (the holy priest) got lots of "Apswaras" right here on this earth. Mantra's came up in their support. "The Jojman (the host) would refrain from the prostitutes on the day of Deeksha (on Sabbath day) and other's wives on the next day." Toittario Shanghita - 6/6/8/5. That clearly means on other 364 days of the year, the “thing” could and did go on. After that there was a system of "Shoho-Moron" in Athorba-Bed, (a widow to be burnt alive with the dead body of the husband). That will be enough! I don't want to go to any deeper in this topic unless somebody hits me below the belt.
My love! O My Love!! For you, I am ever-ready for
1."Pongu longhhite giring" (a crippled crossing the mountain in love),
2. As the "jokkho" I will send "Meghadoot" with a million sighs and grieves (Meghdoot - Kalidash),
3.Keep awake the whole night in your remembrance (Na puchho kayse -Manna Dey),
4.Destroy the city of Troy a hundred times (Helen of Troy),
5.Put the flowers of stars in your Khopa (More Pria Hobe Esho Raani.. ..Kazi Nazrul),
6. "Will envy that youth too much for Shuronjana" (Ki Kotha Oi Juboker Shathe…..Jibanananda Das),
But property? Equal rights in marriage/divorce? High positions in jobs? Good salary? Decision making in any sector of life? Respect??
Sorry, Sorry my love!
The first purpose of this article is primarily to recognize the silent invisible contribution of women towards the sustenance and maintenance of mankind, starting from cradle to grave. The amount of pain they take for this is quantitatively and qualitatively far higher than men. Their hands and hearts work non-stop without weekends for the betterment of us, until they breathe their last breath. We cannot see God, but we can see our mothers.
The other purpose is to show their humiliation in the name of God or religion, and how humanity progressed by slowly uprooting those humiliations. Though a lot more to go, Hindu-social forces, no matter how and by whom, made an example for others by eliminating social evils like mentioned above, like Shoho-moron,' by starting the marriage of widows, and slowly progressing against the cast system etc. All those Montros' and Shuttros' are still there in Books, but frozen forever.
The only way for our Sharia. Willingly, or unwillingly.
