Dear Mr. A Quader,

Thanks your response. I would humbly like to correct you that my name is "Avijit" not "Ajit". Anyway, I am taking it as a typo mistake, never mind.
You said that talking too much or deploying much argument is not criteria of a believer. Well, I would like to ask you in a friendly manner whether you believe in Kumro-potash, Hashjaru, Bokkchhop, Raam-gorurer chana, Shakchunni, Ponkhiraaj Ghora, Santa Claus, fairies, ogre, Zeus, unicorn or "ghorar deem". If not would you kindly mention why ?

If I say that I fly in the sky every night with my wings --would you believe ? certainly not.

So you see, even believers also show doubt and disbelief in most of the practical cases in their entire life. and it is not unusual; On the contrary it is more logical in human nature, you must agree. Our solid structure of knowledge which lead human civilization is mainly based on this skepticism and doubt. If everyone starts believing in everything without being skeptic or doubtful - our scientific advancement will definitely collapse.

So when scientists are engaged in performing their tests or experiments they make their mind inquisitive and skeptic as much as possible. So when they see colorful cloud formations, rainbow etc. they try to search "THE LAWS OF PHYSICS" behind it not the existence of God. So when they see the rain pouring from the sky, they try to find a real cause (laws of physics) not a mighty hand or act of of "Mykail Feresta" or "Devraaj Indro" behind it.

But in the ancient time the situation was different. Ancient people could not understand those physical laws behind the natural event or calamities.
They could not perceive why it rains---that's why Muslims imagined a entity like Mikayl Feresta and Hindus imagined Deboraaj Indro. In a similar manner when Muslims failed to realise the real cause behind death they imagined "Azrail" whereas hindus--"Jomdut". Quite simple.

Just let me give you an example more elaborately: Like the people in other countries in ancient times people in this part of the world, too, used to fear the lunar eclipse and solar eclipse as ominous and some still do. The superstition still persists. that is why there are the rituals of praying to the gods, blowing the conch-shell and ringing the temple bell and bathing in the Ganges among the Hindus. among the Muslims, too, there is the custom of saving 'Kasuf' and 'Khasuf' prayers during the lunar and solar eclipses. They thought if they would not say these special prayers, eclipse will last too long (or forever) and they might die ! But today's Astronomers and scientists know that An eclipse is not a miracle, nor is it anything divine. It is an ordinary natural phenomenon, a common worldly event. They do not say any 'Kasuf' and 'Khasuf' prayer at that time, neither they bath in the Ganges or ring Kashar Ghonta ! But without doing so, they can accurately predict when the solar eclipse will start and when the sun will get rid of the eclipse. We see that their prediction is always hundred percent accurate. That's why have the confidence on scientific methodologies and logic which has been built on skepticism, not on religious belief.

So when Stephen Hawking, Vilenkin, Linde and many other scientists develop theory like big bang or inflation theory or develop Wave Function to explain the beginning of our universe Universe, they do not foresee any god behind it, rather most of them argues that it is highly probable that a universe with our characteristics will come into existence without a cause. You may feel irrational but they don't feel. If you consider "god" behind this
creation, then most obvious question will come how that god was created. You just cannot escape by saying -"That is another logic" or calling me SATAN (you indicated in your posting).
You have to give proper answer. "If there is a god, then god exists. And then god exists without the need for a creator. So, those who always invoke the need for a creator to account for the creation of universe claim, in the same breath, that the "problem" of the creation of the universe is solved by invoking something infinitely more complex than the universe -- that wasn't created."

if we're willing to admit the existence of uncaused things, why not just admit that the universe is uncaused and cut out the middleman? David Hume wondered the same thing:

"But if we stop, and go no farther, why go so far? Why not stop at the material world? ... By supposing it to contain the principle of its order within itself, we really assert it to be god; and the sooner we arrive at that Divine Being, so much the better. When you go one step beyond the mundane system, you only excite an inquisitive humor, which it is impossible ever to satisfy"

So do you think David Hume, Lee Smolin, Hawking, Vilenkin, Linde who have made a remarkable contribution in the world of physics for explain the miracles of universe--all are just SATAN -- just because your book says "The
people of the book believe that the SaTaN gave much argument for his not obeying God" ? Ooops !!!....I dont want to make any comment.

I want to finish just by saying...even if god exist, you have to give a strong logic (that satisfy physical laws) behind it not just by mentioning that we disbelievers are all satan. A quote for you---

"Question with boldness even the existence of God; because if there be one, He must approve the homage of Reason rather than that of blindfolded Fear."

----Thomas Jefferson

With regards,
Avijit.
