ABOUT SAHI-BOKHARI.
- Fatemolla
(This, with little changes, is my first article in internet, in NFB a year
ago. Sahi Bokhari is the meeting place of religion with reality. Study of
Sahi Bokhari accompanied with the Qura'an and history is necessary to get
the real picture of Islam/Muslim. This article makes an effort to show that
all our lives we are shown only one side of the coin).
This is only to share with the readers of NFB the impression I got when I
went through seven thousand three hundred ninety seven hadises of Shahi
Bokhari. We are able to discuss these important issues only because we are now
exposed to our own religious scriptures in our mother tongue. Otherwise,
there was always be a Chinese Wall between the books and us. That is why
the Bible was imprisoned in un-understandable Hebrew and Aramaic language
for long 1200 years before it was translated to Greek and then from Greek to
English. That is why in Shonatan Dharma (Hinduism) there is "Ashtadash
Puronani Ramash-shya Charitanicha Bhashayang Manabah:, Sratta Rouraba
Narakang Brojeth". That means if anybody hears the discussion on Lord Ram's
character in any language except Sanskrit (Deb-bhasha), s/he will go to
Rouraba Narak (something like Habia Dojakh). In 16th century, Bangali Kobi
Syed Sultan wrote some religious pieces in Bangla but at the end he wrote "
Musalmani shashtrakatha Bangala Korilnoo, Bohu paap hoilo more Nis hchay
Janilnoo". ( Itranslated Musalmani subject in bangla, I am sure I am a
sinner). That kind of severe brainwash was deeply imprinted in the whole
population only to safeguard the vested interest, the 'Shwargarajjya" of
Padrees-Puruts-Maolanas throughout human history including ours. There can be no Namaz (Salat), no Hajj, no fasting, etc., without referring
to Hadis. A reputed person like Maolana Abdur Rahim, who was the only
representative from South-East Asia to the 'Fikah Academy" of OIC, said in
his "History of compilation of Hadis" that all hadises of Bokhari are
acceptable. There are many arguments about Bokhari. Some say, it is impossible to
collect facts after two-three hundred years after the Prophet's death.
Especially after a severe civil war, a cruel power game in which so many
thousands of sahabis and Muslims were killed. Some say, of course it is
possible. Because Imam Bokhari went through such a tight screening process
that there can be no "Fashka gero" in that "Bajra Atuni." Some say, the
number of hadises from the Sahabis who struggled in the companion of the
Prophet (SWA) and sacrificed so much for long 23 years are not too many. On
the other hand, five thousand three hundred seventy four hadises came from
only one person, Hazrat Abu Horaira (RA). He did not see those struggling
days of Islam, did not have to sacrifice a thing because he became a Muslim
only three years before the Prophet's (SWA) death. Some say, so what? He did
not have a family and used to live in the mosque. The Prophet (SWA) himself
wiped his (the Prophet's) hands on his cloth. So, he used to remember
everything.Let us not get into the arguments based on belief. Let us see what is there
in Bokhari itself. will discuss only those that our Maolanas never tell us.
You judge them yourself.1. Narrated Amr Bin Maimun: - During the Pre-Islamic period of ignorance I
saw a she-monkey surrounded by a number of monkeys. They were stoning it,
because it had committed illegal sexual intercourse. I too, stoned it along
with them. (Ref 1.)There is no Islam, no Prophet (swa), in this hadis. A natural question is -
how did the sahabi know about the crime? Did he talk to the monkeys? Was he
gifted enough with the ability of talking to animals after Hazrat Solaiman
(as)? Where was the he-monkey? Did it ran away, because after adultery
whenever there is a possibility of punishment, running away with lightning
speed is an eternal male culture. Then, what should we understand by
adultery of animals, birds, fish, etc.?2. After setting every evening, the sun goes under the "Arash" of Allah and
prays to rise again. The prayer is accepted and the sun rises again (Ref-3).
Is it possible? The sun could set if the earth would be "Chapta", (flat). It
cannot set because the earth is round. When it is setting in Dhaka, it is
mid-day in Abu Dhabi and the same sun is almost rising in Canada.3. Allah does not like yawning. He likes sneezing. (Ref-2). Sounds logical?
4.The hell appealed to Allah that its fire is always imprisoned, so its one
part eats another part. So, it was allowed for the fire to breath outside
the hell twice a year. That is the reason of yearly summer and winter in the
earth. (Ref-4). I did not understand a word, and request geologists and/or
meteorologists to comment on this.5. Imagine a person running on a crowded road. He has absolutely no cloths
on. A stone is running away with his cloths and he is running (completely
necked) after the stone. And he is not a commoner like you and me. He is a
Prophet. A Prophet with divine book. Then the stone entered in a crowded
room and he entered that room. The reason? The Jews used to take bath
without cloth; prophet never did that. People used to say that the prophet
was physically deformed. So, it became that important to stop their tongue
that Allah not only made His prophet (AS)) naked in front of others , but
also made him run in that condition in front of the others. This prophet is
none else than Hazrat Musa (as). (Ref- 5).(Let us remember Sura Al-Araf, 27, 28, and 33. It is shaitan who makes a
man/woman nude. And Allah never orders anything indecent).6. If anybody remains unmarried, he is out of our Prophet's (SWA) Ummat
(Ref-6). Many many of our religious personalities (please check Hazrat
Nizamuddin Aolia, Khaza Maeenuddin Chisti, Shah Makhdum, Shah Mastan, Shah
Jalal, Bayezeed Bostami (R.Anhoom) did not marry, including Hazrat Abu
Horaira (RA) himself. There is no mention of his family anywhere; rather he
is always described as a "Shangshar-Bibagi" sahabi, without any property,
living in the Nababi mosque. It is a very long list, such as the sun and the moon will go to hell, a baby
cries after birth because shaitan pricks on the baby's chest-side, A-L-L
past sins, rape, killing, no matter how grave it is, will be perdoned by
simple rituals, Prophet's (SWA) traditions cancelled/altered/violated by
Khalifas, conflicting myths about Prophet ( SWA), Drinking/theft/illegal sex
of Sahabis, weakness in the election of the 1st Khalifa, about civil war of
muslims, against women, etc. etc., which needs detailed handling. There are many obvious conflicts between hadis and hadis, and between the
Koran and hadis. One example I mentioned in the article about Sharia. The
punishments of adultery, specifically mentioned in the Koran in Sura Nur-2,
Sura Nisa 16 and 25, are whipping and confining in the house until death
only for women) or Allah arranges 'something else'. This "something else"
cannot be death because for slave-wives it is half the punishment of normal
wives. Our prophet on the other hand always ordered to exile after whipping
the unmarrieds, and stoned to death the marrieds. No Maolana explains that,
except a very weak effort in the compilation by Maolana Jalil. That is, (
Hz. Omar Said) there was a sura revealed with the death punishment for
adulterers by stonning. Later on, the Sura was cancelled. It tries to
establish that the law was cancelled but the punishment is continuing.
Sounds logical? The most shocking hadis given by Hazrat Abu Horaira (RA) is that he told
only the half of the total treasure of hadises he had. "Because if I tell
you the other half, my throat will be cut." (Ref-10 ). Who could cut his
throat? Only the person in power. The leaders of the rebellions such as
Hazrat Talha, Zubaer, Ayesha etc.( R.Anhoom), Hazrat Mua'bia (RA) ultimately
won the civil war against Hazrat ALi (RA) (thanks to the great politician,
'Bismark' or 'Chanakkya' of that time Amar Bin A'as). Only they could cut
his throat, but did not. Rather they made a valuable gift to him. By
concealing that list and depriving the muslim umma forever from thousands of
our Prophet's hadises and thus safeguarding the power's interests, this
pennyless 'Shangshar-Bibagi', sahabi one day emerged as the governor of
Bahrain.( Ref-7) And at last, as the governor of Madina. Ref- 8.Hazrat Abu Horaira (RA) also said that from our Prophet (SWA) he got a list
of troublemakers ( 300+) with their names, their fathers' names, their
'Khandan" etc( Bokhari). But the list was never disclosed. One more
incedence can be equated in the same line. There came up a very unfortunate
and serious conflict between Hazrat Bibi Fatima (RA) and Hazrat Abubakar
(RA) as a result of which she never talked to him and never saw his face. In
this case also Hazrat Abu Horaira (RA) openly took the side of the throne. I
request the readers to consult Bokhari for a vivid details, but be aware of
brackets! Anything in bracket in any translation of Koran or Bokhari is a
'mix-up' from the translator!THE LAST SHOCK:- Our books say that Imam Bokhari refused the Khalifa's
request to teach hadis to his son in the palace. The Imam asked the Khalifa
to send his son to his mosque to learn with hundreds of other students.
Therefore, the Khalifa sent the Imam to exile to Khartank in Iran where he
died. The punishment to the greatest Imam of the era seems too harsh for a
small 'crime' like that. Here comes Encyclopedia Britannica. The world's
leading people cannot do without it. Many many of our Maolanas always refer
to this encyclopedia in their many books, lectures, articles, etc. That
proves its authenticity, dependability, fairness, and ACCEPTABILITY even to
our Maolanas. What the Britannica says in its paragraphs about Imam Bokhari? Hold your
breath, readers !HE WAS UNDER THE PUNISHMENT OF EXILE UNTIL HE DIED BECAUSE HE DECLARED "THE
KORAN IS THE CREATION OF AN INSPIRED PROPHET, AND NOT A TRANSCRIPT OF
ETERNAL DIVINE LAW." Edition 1983, Page-354.Should we, then, believe entire Encyclopedia Britannica except this
paragraph?Even if I do not believe in it it, all my life-long devotional investment in
Bokhari is seriously disturbed by other findings.Thanks.
